What is JEE Advanced?
The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Advanced is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted for admissions into IIT/IISc for B. E/B. Tech admissions. JEE Prior to JEE Advanced exam, a candidate has to first appear for JEE Main exam and obtain the JEE Main cut off marks. Candidates who are in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main Exam then become eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
Who Conducts JEE Advanced?
JEE Advanced exam is conducted by any one of the IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Any one of the IITs conducts the JEE Advanced exam on a rotational basis.

The form has to be filled in online mode only from the official website. Steps to Fill JEE Advanced 2023 Registration Form
- The qualified candidates need o first register themselves for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam. For this process, candidates need to provide their JEE Main 2023 roll number, password and security pin.
- In the next step, enter your personal details, communication address, etc.
- Select the exam centre for JEE Advanced 2023 exam from the dropdown menu.

IIT Bombay has released the official notification of JEE Advanced 2022 Exam at the official website- jee.adv.ac.in. The exam conducting body has announced the important dates of JEE Advanced including the release of online application, exam date, admit card, among other details.
The Application form of JEE Advanced 2022 will be available from August 7 and the last date for the form submission will be August 11, 2022. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will conduct JEE Advanced in an online mode in two shifts. JEE Advanced 2019 exam for both papers 1 and 2 was conducetd on May 27, 2019. Here we bring the exam analysis, students’ feedback about the difficulty level of the examination and other important details about JEE Advanced 2019 Result and counselling process.
IIT Roorkee conducted the JEE Advanced 2019 exam for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 in online (Computer Based Test) mode on 27 May. Examination for Paper 1 was conducted from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM whereas Paper 2 was conducted in second shift from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. Differently abled students were provided an extra hour during both papers. According to most of the students the JEE Advanced 2019 was of moderate difficulty level. However, Paper 2 was somewhat easier than Paper 1.
