Step 2: Counseling Process:

If the student is selected, the experienced professor will give him all the details related to the university, curriculum and will solve any doubt you may have. In normal circumstances, students are encouraged to visit the University campus for personal counseling.

Step 3: Submit the Documents:

Once you have decided to take the admission, you have to submit all the required documents to the university so that the university can register your admission.

Step 4: Online Payment:

After the admission process is complete, Students have to confirm his seat by doing the payment. An individual can pay via NEFT or Direct Transfer into Bank Accounts, the choice is yours.

Admissions For Phd Students:

The admission will be based on the following:

1. Online Entrance Test (MCQs):

The candidates who qualify for fellowship/scholarship in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar national level test are exempted from the university entrance examination and eligible for Interview by submitting the certificate/mark sheet to the University at the time of application.

2. Interview (Presentation & Personal Interview):

A short list of candidates will be prepared based on the performance in entrance examination. Exemption given for the entrance examination test as per note mentioned above.

3. Declaration of result:

The merit list will be prepared based on overall performance in written test and interview. The candidates shortlisted will be offered admission to the PhD program.

Pre-Placement Activities

1. The placement cell starts working with students from the beginning of their academic year, conducting workshops, seminars, and personality development programs to enhance their employability.
2. Students are also encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as quizzes, debates, and sports events, to develop their skills and interests.

Placement Process:

1. The placement process begins with the registration of students for placements. Students who are interested in pursuing placements must register themselves by filling out a form and submitting it to the placement cell.
2. The placement cell then sends a list of registered students to participating companies, along with their CVs and other relevant details.
3. Companies can then shortlist students based on their requirements and preferences.
4. Shortlisted students are invited for interviews, group discussions, and other assessment activities.
5. The final selection is made by the company, and the student is informed about the outcome of the interview.

1. Library:

There are two main libraries which make up the MU Learning Resource Centre. The library has a collection of 50,000+ books. It also has a vast collection of e-books, journals, and online resources. The library is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as digital libraries, online databases, and e-learning platforms. The library also provides reprographic services, photocopying, and printing facilities. The library has an automated library system that allows students to access books, journals, and other resources easily. The library also conducts various workshops and training sessions for students to enhance their research and information literacy skills.

2. Cafeteria and Dining Facilities::

The university has two messes, one for boys and one for girls, which offer a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The messes are equipped with modern kitchen facilities and serve a range of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafeteria is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and offers a wide range of snacks, beverages, and desserts. The university also has a canteen that serves hot and cold beverages, snacks, and light meals.
The quality of food is generally good, with students praising the variety of options and the taste of the dishes. The messes and cafeteria are well-maintained, with clean and hygienic facilities. Students can also order food from outside vendors or bring their own food to the campus. 3. Hostels:

MU offers a modern, safe, and comfortable residence for students and has fantastic hostels for 4500+ students on Campus, which provides the right environment for studies and overall development to all its resident students. The hostel is within the university campus. It has separate hostel blocks for Boys and Girls. Our state-of-the-art accommodation makes every student feel like a ‘Home away from home’. Each hostel has two wardens in-charge to look after the day-to-day affairs and to work.

4. Transportation:

Marwadi University provides a transportation facility for its students to commute to the campus. The university has a fleet of buses that ply from various locations in Rajkot and surrounding areas to the campus. The buses cover several routes, including Rajkot city, Jamnagar, Gondal, Dhrol, Wankaner, Jasdan The frequency of buses is regular, with multiple departures throughout the day.

5. Other Facilities:

Amphitheater: MU also provides an Amphitheater with an open space with a huge seating capacity for concerts, events, cultural activities and more and has a huge and beautiful amphitheater having a capacity of more than 1000 spectators.
Lake and Jogging Track: It also provides a Lake and Jogging Track where students can stroll or jog to keep the body healthy.
Medical Room: The hostels have a first aid and primary health kit for its residents. In case of any medical emergency, we have an ambulance to take one for hospitalization, available 24 hours a day.
It also provides students 24x7 security arrangements, an auditorium with a capacity of more than 800 people, Banking and ATM Facility, sports and students club.
