The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA and allied programs. The exam is designed to assess the candidate's management skills, aptitude, and potential for success in a business environment.

The MAT exam was first conducted in 1998 by the All India Management Association (AIMA) to provide a common platform for aspiring management students to take the first step towards pursuing their MBA dreams. Since then, the exam has undergone several changes, including format changes, test formats, and score validation.

Mode of Exam Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT) and Internet Based Test (IBT) modes.

MAT 2024 exam will be conducted in 3 modes- IBT, CBT, and PBT
As per MAT Exam Pattern, the question paper will be divided into five distinct sections- Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical skills, Economics and Business Environment.
Each section will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions (previously 40), thus total there will be 150 questions instead of 200.
The time duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
For every correct option, candidates will get one mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
