GATE 2025 Overview
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate programs (M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D.) and PSU recruitment. It is conducted jointly by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB-GATE). The exam tests candidates’ understanding of engineering, science, and humanities subjects.

- Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Differential Equations, etc.

The GATE 2025 examinations were conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Each day featured two sessions:
- Forenoon Session:9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Session:2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

📅 GATE 2025 Key Dates
- Exam Date: February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025
🎫 Downloading the Admit Card
- Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iisc.ac.in.
- Log in using your Enrollment ID/Email ID and Password
- Click on the "Download Admit Card" link.
- Verify details such as name, exam date, time, and centre.
- Click "Download" and save the admit card as a PDF
- Print a hard copy for the exam day.
📝 GATE 2025 Answer Key
1️⃣ GATE 2025 Answer Key Release
- The provisional answer key is released a few days after the exam on the official GATE website (gate2025.iisc.ac.in) .
- Candidates can download the PDF of the answer key for their respective paper.
1️⃣ Accessing the Answer Key
- Visit the GATE 2025 official website.
- Click on the "GATE 2025 Answer Key" link.
- Select your subject paper and download the answer key PDF.
2️⃣ Challenging the Answer Key
- Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key if they find discrepancies.
- A nominal fee (₹500 per question) is charged for raising objections.
- The challenge must be submitted within the given deadline along with supporting documents.
- If the challenge is accepted, the fee is refunded.
3️⃣ Final Answer Key
- After evaluating the challenges, the final answer key is released.
- No further objections can be raised after this.
- The final answer key is used for result calculation.
3️⃣ GATE 2025 Result Calculation
- The marks are calculated based on the final answer key.
- For multi-session papers, scores are normalized to ensure fairness.
- The final GATE score is computed using a pre-defined formula.
- Results are announced on the GOAPS portal, and candidates can download their scorecards.
